Quality Services for Dashing Results

Please Note: all services are subject to change based off the length, density, and difficulty of the desired end result.
***A 48 hour notice is required to change or cancel an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a charge equal to half the amount of the starting price of scheduled appointment.
***All services are a la carte, meaning chemical and conditioning services do not include blowout/styled finishes.
***Please disclose if length, density or texture may require extra time to complete service.
*** Please do not bring companions or children to a service if they're not receiving a service. Any additional guest that arrive without an appointment will be asked to wait outside of studio, or your service will be rescheduled for a later date and be subject to our late cancel charge. NO EXCEPTIONS!

All services include a blowout finish. These are the Laboratory classic color services for clients who like the traditional, tried and true looks we have provided for decades.

Root Retouch
For clients with one inch or less of regrowth, natural color is applied to cover gray or maintain your existing color. This is typically used for grey coverage clients. This is not including bleaching or fashion color services

Full Color
One shade of color is applied from the scalp to ends of the hair. This option is not for people wanting to go more than 2 shades lighter than current natural colored hair. For a significantly lighter result, please book a blonding consultation separately.

Partial Highlight/Lowlight
This is a traditional partial foil highlight or lowlight, highlighting the top and front side sections of the hair covering approximately half of the head. For a dimensional look and as a maintenance option to a "full highlight". These are traditional highlight techniques that have a dimensional result with roughly equal amounts of hair highlighted to original hair. Think lighter pieces mixed with deeper pieces rather than an overall blonding look. For a lighter or more densely highlighted result, choose an elevated blonding service.

Full Highlight/Lowlight
These are highlights or lowlights placed throughout the entire head, including the back and underneath. This creates a dimensional result with roughly equal amounts of highlighted hair and your existing color. "Full" refers to the placement throughout the head, not to making every strand blonde. For a lighter or more densely highlighted result, choose an elevated blonding service.

Maintenance services are reserved for current clients of the LABoratory to refresh their existing color between regular appointments. These services are not available for first time clients.
All maintenance services listed include a blowout finish.

T-zone Color Retouch
This is a targeting root touch up for clients with inch or less of new growth around the front of the hairline and down your part line coloring only the front hairline and partline. Think a “T” shaped subsection of hair. Ideal for grey coverage clients who want to keep visible roots covered between full root retouch appointments. This is suggested maintenance every 2-4 weeks. This does not cover the roots throughout your entire head. This is not including bleaching or fashion color services.

Face Frame Highlights
This refreshes the highlights around the your front hairline to brighten your "money piece". This is ideal for lived-in blonding clients who love a pop around the face and are comfortable with a rooted look throughout the rest of their hair. For traditional highlight clients, your stylist may recommend adding a root shadow or color melt to blend the remaining regrowth. The suggested maintenance is around 6-8 weeks. Check with your stylist before booking to confirm this is the right refresh for your look.

Mini Partial Foil
This refreshes the highlights around the front hairline, with three foils on each side of your part line to break up visible regrowth. Keeps brightness around your face and part while leaving am ore rooted, dimensional loo throughout the interior and back. This is ideal for maintaining tradition partial highlights, high-maintenance elevated blonding, or lived-in blonding between larger appointments. The suggested maintenance is around 6-8 weeks. Check with your stylist before booking to confirm this is the right refresh for your look.

Gloss/Toner
(As a stand alone service)
This refreshes the tone and shine of your existing color without lightening your hair. This is ideal for maintaining highlights, balayage, lived-in blonding, softening unwanted tones, or restoring richness to faded color. The suggested maintenance is around 6-8 weeks, or as recommended by your stylist.

All services include a root shadow, Olaplex, and a blowout finish. These are low-maintenance color services ideal for clients who want longer between appointments (up to 12 weeks) and prefer a softer blend from the scalp into the highlights.

Balayage
This includes hand painted highlights designed to provide 2-3 levels of lift. This creates ribbons of lightness throughout the lengths. This creates a gradual transition from darker roots to lighter ends and gives a warmer, natural, sun-kissed finish.

Partial Balayage
This covers the top and front sections of the head, including the back, underneath, and perimeter.

Foilayage/Teasylights
This is a hybrid technique combining the greater lightening power of foil highlights with the soft blend of balayage. This is ideal for clients wanting a brighter blonde, high-impact ends, or a blended result requiring more than 4 levels of lift.

Partial Foilayage/Teasylights
This covers the entire head, including the back, underneath, and perimeter.

All In Blonding
This is a transformative blonding service combining babylights, balayage, traditional highlights, and a color melt for dimensional brightness with a soft root. This is ideal for clients seeking a noticeable change in their look with a complete, customized blonding result.

All services include Olaplex and a blowout finish. Consultation is required for pricing. Fashion and creative colors require a suitably pre-lightened base. Any lightening needed to prepare your hair must be booked and priced separately from the color application.

Fashion Color
Colors outside the natural hair-color spectrum, with up to 3 shades included. For straightforward placement without intricate patterns or intensive color melting.

Fashion Color Refresh
This refreshes existing fashion color on previously lightened hair. This is for color deposit only; this does not include lightening or new-growth touch-up. For current clients maintaining their existing placement and color family. This includes olaplex and a blowout finish. A consultation is required for pricing.

Partial Fashion Color Refresh
This refreshes fashion color on half of the hair or less. Including under lights or a

Full Fashion Color Refresh
This refreshes fashion color on more than half of the hair.

Partial Fashion Color
This is color applied to half of the hair or less, including classic underlights or a simple block color placement.

Full Fashion Color
This is color applied to more than half of the hair, including full-head color, bull's-eye, or flower petal placement. For holographic effects, detailed patterns, or intensive color melting, choose Creative Color Placement.

Creative Color Placement
This is detailed, customized color designs such as calico hair, strategic multi-section block placements, raccoon stripes, prism holographic hair, and intensive color melts.

Partial Creative Color Placement
This is a customize placement covering half of the hair or less.

Full Creative Color Placement
This is a customized placement covering more than half of the hair.

Color correction
This is for removing or changing existing color when additional corrective work is needed to reach your goal. Consultation is required to determine the services, time, and pricing

All services include Olaplex and a blowout finish. Root shadowing it optional and booked separately. This is for brighter blonding closer to the scalp for clients who prefer less visible depth at the roots. These looks require more frequent appointments to maintain the result.

Babylights
These are finely woven, closely spaced foiled highlights for a brighter blonde with less background color showing than traditional highlights. Plan to refresh babylights within 12 weeks. Your stylist may recommend an earlier appointment based on your regrowth and desired brightness.

Partial Babylights
The placement for these are through the top and front sections of the head to refresh an existing blonde between full appointments.

Full Babylights
The placements for these are throughout the entire head, including the back and underneath, for a more consistently blonde result.

Bleach Retouch
This lightens one inch or less of regrowth to maintain an existing all-over blonde or a platinum result. Book every 4-6 weeks. If it has been more than 6 weeks, or you have more than 1 inch of regrowth, book a Full Bleach-Out instead. Extended regrowth requires additional time and a different application approach.

Partial Bleach-Out
This lightens selected sections from the roots through to the ends for a bold blonde placement, such as a blonde block or a statement money piece. For ongoing root maintenance of these placements, plan on a 4-6 week schedule. Check with your stylist before booking.

Full Bleach Out
This is an all-over lightening service for a blonde or a platinum result from the roots to the ends. This is also the booking category for existing bleach clients whose regrowth exceed the Bleach Retouch limits. Your starting hair color, history, and regrowth determine the time needed and whether your goal requires multiple appointments

These are selected with your stylist during your consultation to customize your service, at an additional cost. These are not available to book individually.

Color Refresh Mask

A custom color-deposition conditioning mask applied at the shampoo bowl to refresh fashion color or add a fashion hue to previously lightened hair.

Color Melt/Shadow Root

This adds depth at the roots or blends multiple shades for a soft transition from roots to ends. Root shadowing is included in Lived-In Blonding Services.

Tip-Out

This lightens the mids and ends left out of your highlighting placement for a brighter, more concentrated blonde.

Bleach Wash

This is a lightening wash used to shift unwanted tone or reduce existing color.

Color Remover

This reduces the existing artificial color to prepare for a color change or correction.

Malibu/Color Prepare/Blondes/Quick Fix

This is a targeted treatment to address buildup, prepare hair for color, or adjust unwanted tone.

Olaplex/B3

This is a bond-building upgrade for color services where it is not already included. Olaplex is included in Lived-In Blonding, High-Maintenance Blonding, and Creative Color services.

Additional Services

Standalone Blowout
This is a shampoo and blow-out for a finished style.

Add-On Thermal Styling
This adds a curling iron or a flat out finish to your blowout or haircut. This does not include silk presses or roller sets. Book with your main service to allow additional styling time.

Special Event Styling
This is a customized styling for your special occasion. Consultation is required. Virtual consultations are available.

All hair cuts are gender-neutral and include a blow-dry style finish. Choose your service based on your current hair length.

Bang Trim/Undercut/Hairline Cleanup
This is an in-between refresh for bangs, an undercut, or the outline of a clipper haircut.

Clipper Cut
This is a cut shaped primarily with clippers, with scissor work to blend and detail

This does not include detailed barber fades.

Short cut
This is a customized scissor cut for hair currently cropped above chin length. This includes a blow-dry finish.

Medium Cut
This is a customized cut for hair currently between chin and shoulder length. This includes a blow-dry finish.

Long Cut
This is a customized cut for hair currently reaching the shoulder blades or longer. This includes a blow-dry style finish. This is for very long or dense hair, choose an Extended-Time Cut.

Extended-Time Cut
Additional time for a major length change, detail reshaping, or for very long or dense hair. This includes a blow-dry style finish.

Signature Cut Experience
A personalized cut with a deep-cleansing shampoo, extended scalp massage, custom-selected mask or treatment, and a blow-dry style finish with your choice of curling iron or flat iron finish. This does not include silk presses or roller sets.

Express Keratin Treatment
This reduces frizz by up to 50% for smoother, more manageable hair, with results typically lasting 6-8 weeks.

Keratin Treatment
This reduces frizz by up to 80% for smoother hair and easier everyday styling, with results typically lasting three months or longer. Results vary with hair type and home care. Additional time or product my be required for very long or dense hair.

Standalone Conditioning Treatment
This is a custom-selected shampoo and conditioning treatment tailored to your hair's needs, paired with our signature scalp massage for softer, more manageable hair.

Conditioning Treatment Add-On
This adds a custom-selected conditioning treatment and our signature scalp massage to your haircut or color service.

Standalone Olaplex Treatment
This is a dedicated bondbuilding treatment that helps repair damaged bonds within the hair, improving strength, and reducing breakage. This is ideal for hair stressed by coloring, lightening, or heat styling.

Anitdot Pro Scalp Treatment
This is a three step treatment designed to soothe an irritated scalp and support scalp comfort. This includes a scalp-care shampoo, a scalp mask with our signature scalp massage, and a leave-in scalp spray applied before styling. This does not include a blow-dry style finish.
